I almost lost my life today. I was trying to move a dresser up winding steps and a slip occurred. The dresser and I went tumbling down the steps and I saw 27 years of life go by in a flash. I slid on my butt while the dresser came after me. As I was sliding, I kept my left arm fully extended and luckily I caught the dresser when we both stopped at the bottom of the stairs. I was completely unharmed but completely bruised.

An entire 22 foot truck was unloaded by my wife and I. The walls have a scrape or two, some furniture have scraped and I have about a dozen or so black and blues. I have a PFT this Friday but I already predict that I won’t be participating in it. I am completely exhausted and will be going into a coma once I take a shower and lay down. Sleeping in has been authorized for tomorrow.
